Sensor Networks Random Geographic Routing Implementation


This page is dedicated to the implementation of a geographical random forwarding routing algorithm on Infineon EYESIFXv2 sensor nodes.






  • The implementation use the TinyOS operating system to implements all the functionality needed to handle the geographical routing of data packets over a sensors network.
  • A specific Java tool permits to record data received from a sink sensor.
  • A graphical interface display the current network status and sensor values; this tool is also capable to remote control the sensors and to change working point of each network node.
  • The implementation it's optimized on power cumnsumption using all the capability of the MSP430F1611 microcontroller and TDA5250 tranceiver installed on the sensors.
  • The actual implementations use the on borad flash memory to store configurations parameters like geographical address and timing constants (on next version we are planing to introduce an automatic localization algoritm that overcome this little drawback).
