Angelo De Poli Print E-mail
  • Angelo De Poli was born in Rovigo (RO), Italy, on Feb 25th, 1977. He completed the secondary school at Classical Liceum on July 1996. After that he joined the University of Ferrara and received his Degree in Electronic Engineering on Feb 2003 after a six months stage in Germany at the Ericsson Eurolab Deutschland sited in Aachen. The title of the thesis was "Study of retransmission mechanisms (ARQ) for multicast services in UMTS". On March 2003 he started a collaboration with the Department of Engineering of the University of Ferrara developing research projects still in collaboration with Ericsson.

  • His research interests are in RLC protocols for Multicast Services in UMTS and more in details applications of video streaming with Hybrid ARQ. He studied also intra and inter cell interferences with dedicated and common channels. More recent studies are about channel codification with convolutional,Viterbi and Turbo Codes decoding.

  • He left the TLC department on march 2004 to join an electronic company in Legnago (VR), Italy.
