Daniela Maniezzo Print E-mail
  • Daniela Maniezzo was born in Lendinara, Rovigo, Italy, on February 14, 1974. She received the Dr. Eng. Degree in Electronic Engineering (summa com Laude) on December 2000 from the University of Ferrara. Since January 2001 she is a Ph. D. student in Ferrara University. She was involved in the design, development and evaluation of a complex environment for the event driven simulation of an Ad Hoc mobile network (SAM).

  • In 2002 she joined the research team of Prof. Kung Yao at the Electric Engineering Department of UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) where she was involved in a NASA project for the design and performance evaluation of an unmanned aircrafts telemetry system. She worked also in an NSF initiative for the design and development of a sensor driven audio localization. She is working at UCLA Computer Science Department and is conducting research on Ad Hoc networks with Prof. Mario Gerla, where is involved in an ST Microelectronics/UC-CoRe initiative on Ad Hoc Networks for Group Communications and Internet Access.
